Poland: colonel Zaglob fears secret documents about a new fighter plane might be stolen by China spies ;to make the matters worse, the officer's daughter ,Georgina , is married to Michel Steinberg ,himself in the pay of the enemy; she does not love him anymore and refuses to help him steal the plans ;but he blackmails her by kidnapping his stepson ;the unfortunate mom has no more choice.
An eventful spy thriller, dominated by the great Charles Vanel ,who pulls all the stops to become wealthier (a character not far away from the tycoon of "les affaires sont les affaires" where he meets again Dreville as a director); highlight is a troika chase in which the wife's attentive escort tries to catch the hateful husband; the Chinese spies are not too much cardboard : the young girl does not want to survive her lover .Good use of the Gothic castle and of the snowy landscapes.
